Bennett's 6-Month-old pics(1) 小必安六個月近照(一)

小必安已經六個月大了．有不少他的＂第一次＂－－由背部反向肚子的反身；第一口半固體食物（米糊）；第一次水池派對，還有他開始用三號尿片．

他越來越頑皮，當媽媽抱著他或是替他換片時，他總會反身，就是在play pen，床仔或地上玩也會反來反去，弄得媽媽時常很忙碌．由於他多了反身，爸媽特地買了一部嬰兒監視器，類似閉路電事來監察他的動靜，以確保他在床上的安全．

小必安多了說ＢＢ話，特別在他玩和開心的時候．

Bennett is 6-month-old. He has his many "firsts": first roll over from the back to the stomach, first solid food (rice cereal), first pool party. He also starts to use number 3 diapers.

He becomes more naughty as he keeps turning when mommy holds him or changes his diapers. He rolls also when he plays in the play pen, crib or on the floor. Just to keep mommy busy all the time. Since he starts to roll over more, daddy and mommy have bought and installed a baby video monitor to watch his movement so as to make sure he's doing fine in his crib.

He coos and bubbles more, especially when he is playing, and he is happy.

天氣悶熱

可能近日天氣悶熱, 竟然跟老婆頂撞, oh well..., 希望可以早日雨過天晴, 亦希望她的病可以早日康復.
前天我們把小必安放在辦公椅上, 有點有趣:

Yesterday we had a gathering with some of our friends in San Diego. I liked the gathering not just because of food and the kids but it was a simple party (without a lot of glamours) that allowed some good and frank conversations. Of course it was fun to see the kids and Bennett dipping into the pool - and cried.

6-month Check-up 六個月身體檢查

今天爸爸和媽媽帶小必安到診所看醫生，
其實是六個月身體檢查．

體重１４磅１２安士，大約在中位數．（兩個月前是１３磅１４安士）
身長２５．７５吋（比起兩個約前短了半吋？！
真奇怪！似乎姑娘有點＂喳流灘＂（＝求其）．
頭圍１６．５吋，長了半吋．

又要打四針！
打第一針時，
小必安還好奇地看著姑娘，
眼神好像說：＂Ｗｈｏ　ａｒｅ　ｙｏｕ？＂
第二針一落，
他已大哭起來，
看得媽媽也心痛．

小必安在明天就會六個月大了．他不斷地成長－－可以坐在高凳上； 呀呀學語的聲音多了；對周遭的事物感興趣；想觸摸每一件東西，更把它們放進口裡．他就是那麼一個滿有好奇心和無限精力的小伙子，去探索一切新的事物．

美國國慶日是小必安第一次看煙花，看得他入神．

Ｅｖａ姑姐從香港前來探望．爺爺、嫲嫲和Ｍａｙ姑姐也一起來，一家人有個愉快的相聚．

Bennett will be 6-month-old tomorrow. He just keeps growing a lot - he can sit in the high chair. He babbles a lot. He is interested in everything around him. He wants to touch things and tries to put things in his month. He is just a very curious boy full of energy to explore all the new things.

On the Independence Day, Bennett watched fireworks for the very first time. He was just fascinated!

Aunt Eva came from Hong Kong to visit Bennett last Saturday. Grandpa, grandma and Aunt May also came. We had a great family reunion.

國慶日煙花匯演

今天是美國國慶日，在國內有不少慶祝活動．在聖地牙哥就有十多個地方有煙花匯演，而我們所居住的Ｍｉｒａ　Ｍｅｓａ也不弱，上午有巡遊匯演，晚上在Ｍｉｒａ　Ｍｅｓａ　Ｈｉｇｈ　Ｓｃｈｏｏｌ就有煙花匯演．

晚上九時一般是小必安上床睡覺的時間，但今天晚了一點，在九時才吃完奶，即聽見屋外傳來窿窿的燒煙花聲響．猜不到我們家的後園正是欣賞這匯演的＂有利位置＂，連忙抱著小必安出外看煙花．是他第一次看煙花，看得他定了神．一看就十分鐘，心裡正想讚他能安靜地用心看煙花，他已大哭起來．沒辦法，過了休息的時間，只好跟爸爸迅速地替他洗澡，讓他睡覺．

雖然沒有傳統的燒烤，但能夠一家人在家裡一起看燦爛的煙花匯演，倒是一次很特別的經歷．
